So why is that that two people can not have a good, simple friendship without the drama? Am I not yet at an age where that happens or is it something that does not exist? Try and try as I may it is never enough. Go out your way for a person and they throw it back in your face with a list of complaints. We all screw up - I will be the first to admit that I have. If you can not get past those times and work through them then DO NOT BE FRIENDS!! Why must girls constantly put on the "best friend" act while they are going behind each others backs on a mission to ruin each others lives??
If you do not like someone then why not be upfront about it... Admit that you do not like each other and leave it at that! It hurts so much more when someone you think is close to you is the one who turns around and stabs you, not in the back, but right in the front where you can see the blade go in over and over again. And they never stop at one attack, when they do cross the line of friendship and become your worst enemy it becomes a life long battle!!
When were girls programed to be that cruel? What happened to "Sugar and Spice and everything Nice"... How is a girl meant to feel safe enough to let someone in and become "best friends" when it seems like everytime they do they are setting themselves up to be crushed?? I have personally always found guys to be better friends but then you have their girlfriends to contend with. Gay guys are even better but then you will always be competing for other guys... Maybe solitude is the best option.
